Ghaati Full Movie Review:
Ghaati sets out as an epic tale of ageing hippies who risk their lives to smuggle goods across rugged landscapes. From the very beginning, however, Krishh’s direction seems to lose its grip. The film tries to layer its narrative with elaborate visuals, but instead of delivering a thrilling adventure, it meanders into a familiar revenge saga reminiscent of old-school cinema.
What should have been gripping ends up overstretched, with action and drama that often feel exaggerated and beyond belief. Anushka Shetty, though powerful on screen, appears to echo shades of her role from Bhagamathee. Her character takes time to evolve, coming across as underwhelming until her past is finally revealed in a conventional manner. Chaitanya Rao, entrusted with a weighty role, unfortunately gets drowned in the uneven storytelling and fails to leave a strong impact. Even the addition of YouTube personalities like Hara Srinivas adds little more than extra drama without substance.
